I. Promote information technology as a tool for positive social change and development.

II. Support efforts to increase openness and transparency in developing nations’ governments through promoting the implementation of information technology initiatives for such a purpose.

III. Enhance Information Technology/Information and Communications Technology training by assisting educational institutions in obtaining computers and other equipment necessary to meet their mission and assist in providing IT/ICT training.

IV. Promote information technology as a viable career choice and encourage information technology job creation.
